4.5 Menu overview
The menu structure is based on VDMA standard 24574. The menu is structured hierarchically. The first
level shows the main menu with menu items like
RLO
,
W(03
,
E()
,
GL$
or
(
.
The menu items depend on the configuration. Your device may not provide all menu items described
below. The configuration is displayed by pressing
S
in normal operation mode. A 4-digit code is shown, for
example:
The four digits tsav have the following meaning:
t:
Type t
=
temperature
measurement
s:
No. of switching outputs
2
a:
No. of analog outputs
0
v:
Mounting / installation
i = standard mounting (tank top installation)
The menu item is only displayed if the option is equipped.
Example: if a = 0 then menu items for setting analog outputs
are not available. You may skip these descriptions.
The structure of the main menu
Temperature (
W(03
)
is
identical. This menu includes all settings for the switching.
General settings can be changed as well. They are set in
main menu
Basic settings extended functions (
EHI
)
.
These settings should be changed first because they affect
displays and settings of the sub-menus. General settings
are for example used units and assignment of the switching
outputs to temperature control.
In addition, menu
Diagnostic
provides methods for analy-
zing events.
Please refer to the detailed presentation of the menu
structure at the end of this document.
