Remote-Pager : Nu3000R w/LCD
The model name, Nu3000R stands for
Two Way Amplitude Modulated Remote with
Liquid Crystal Display
.
This transmitter allows you to activate multiple functions by pressing different
combinations of the 4 buttons on the unit.
Please take these safety precautions into consideration under the following conditions:
1. Servicing the vehicle
When servicing your automobile (i.e. changing the oi l, washing your car), the
NUSTARTsystem should be in Valet M ode. There i s a safety shutdown switch under
the hood that deactivates the remote star t functi on if the hood is open.
However, if the sw itch has been dam aged or the switch has been instal led im properly,
the vehicle may start when button

is pressed for 2 seconds, even if the hood is open.
2. Loaning your vehicle to others
Whenever you loan your vehicle to an individual who i s not familiar with NUSTART,
you may want to put the system in Valet m ode. This wi ll prevent the borrower from
accidentally activating the NUSTAR Tauto-secur ity system.
3. For manual transmission vehicles
If the NUSTART system is install ed in a manual transmi ssion vehicle, extra
precautions are required because the N USTA RT does not monitor the gear shi fter :

Under nor mal cir cumstances, Reservati on Mode i s cancel led
when a door or hatchback opens. Please verify that the openi ng of any door or
hatchback cancels R eser vation M ode. If any of the door s or hatchback are not
monitor ed by NU STA RT because of improper installation or a faulty dome light switch,
do not use the NUSTART and take your vehicl e immediately to the dealer for repair.
Do not set Reser vation Mode if the window(s) are open or if there is anyone inside the
vehicle, this includes animals. Remote start installation in a m anual transmission vehicle
wi th a convertibl e top is not recommended.

Color LCD
The remote-pager comes with Color LCD which is a unique color LCD display
that visually tells the vehicle owner the security status of your car at all times.
There are differing icons that will appear on your Color LCD indicating what
your vehicle is currently doing.
