Introduction
Thank you for purchasing a StarTech.com RS-422/RS-485 isolated serial PCI card. Now
you can add two (PCI2S422ISO) or four (PCI4S422ISO) RS-422/RS-485 serial ports to
your system. Dip switches located on the card let you select between RS-422 and RS-485
formats for each port, depending on the application you need. The DB9 connectors let
you connect many types of serial peripherals, like networking devices, high speed
modems, monitoring equipment, long distance communication devices and printers.

Note:
Depending on the driver version, you may also see the PCI2S422ISO referred to as
the P422I or the PCIPORT on the driver disk. The PCI4S422ISO may be referred to as the
P485 or the the PCIPORT card.
