Description
Key Format
You can use either ASCII characters (alphanumeric
format) or hexadecimal digits (in the A~F, a~f, and
0~9 range) to be the WEP key. For example:
ASCII: guest
Hexadecimal: 12345abcde
Key Length
Choose the length of your WEP encryption key.
Default Key
Select one of the four encryption keys to encrypt
your data. Only the key you select in “Default Key”
will take effect.
Key 1 ~ Key 4
Fill in the text box using the rules below:
64-bit WEP: Input a ten-digit hexadecimal value
(example: 12345abcde) or a five-digit ASCII value
(example: guest)
128-bit WEP: Input a 26-digit hexadecimal value
(example: 0123456789abcdef0123456789) or a ten-
digit ASCII value (example: guestlogin).
