1 Safety warnings and precautions

Read the instructions carefully and note all warnings and instructions before installing or using the winch.
•
Save these intructions for future refrence.

1. Use thick protective gloves when handling the wire.
2. The winch’s sound level is 86dB. Protect your hearing by using ear protectors.
3. Stay away from the rope when the winch is being used or it is under load
4. Do not touch the wire rope or fairlead when it is in use!
5. Always use the protective hand-saving belt when spooling.
6. Observe the risk of electric shock when working with the battery. Follow the battery manufacturer’s instructions..
1.2 Safe operation and installation of the winch
•
The winch is intended for pulling out the vehicle, for example from a ditch or other similar location.
•
The winch must not tow another vehicle or hold the cargo in place
•
This winch is designed for intermittent use only. The duration of the pulling job should be kept as short as possible. Otherwise the winch
may oherheat.
•
To avoid accidents and damage, think carefully what you are doing.
•
Design and measure the exact location of the winch before drilling the mounting holes.
•
Be careful not to drill the fuel tank or electric cables.
•
Always leave at least five turns of wire rope on the drum.
•
Place towel or sandbag over wire wheil the winch is in use.
•
A fully charged battery guarantees the best performance. The vehicle engine should be running during winding
•
Direct the pull as straight as possible.
•
Never free the clutch when the winch/wire is under load.
•
While standing aside of the tow path, press(and hold) the push button on the remote control to pull the load. If the load will not move, re-
lease pull switch and check for obstacles blocking the load,or check to see if load is too heavy for winch capacity.
