INTRODUCTION

Congratulations on purchasing your new 12 Volt DC Corded Halogen Spotlight.

Read this Instruction Manual and follow the

instructions carefully before using your new spotlight.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Operating the spotlight

  1.  Insert the 12 Volt DC Plug into the accessory outlet of your vehicle or a portable 12 volt power source.

  2.  To turn on the spotlight, slide the Power On/Off Switch to the ON position (up).

  3.  To turn off the spotlight, slide the Power On/Off Switch to the OFF position (down).

Notes:

When using a vehicle’s 12 volt DC accessory outlet as a power source, be aware that some vehicles require you to turn on the ignition to power the

accessory outlet. Manufacturer strongly recommends that you leave the ignition of the vehicle turned on (NOT in the accessory position) while operating

the spotlight to avoid draining the vehicle battery.

When not in use, always turn off the light and disconnect the 12V DC power cord from the accessory outlet of your vehicle or other DC power source.

WARNING: TO AVOID THE RISK OF PROPERTY DAMAGE:

• Never connect the unit to a positive grounded vehicle.

• The 12V DC Power Cord must only be connected to batteries with a nominal output voltage of 12 volts. The unit will not operate

from a 6 volt battery and will sustain permanent damage if connected to a 24 volt battery.

Using the hanging hook

The hanging hook at top allows you to position the spotlight for convenient, hands-free operation.

CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF PRODUCT DAMAGE:

• When the spotlight is hung by the hanging hook, do not shake the spotlight or the object that it is hanging from. Do not hang

the spotlight from any electrical wires or any object that it is not secure.

• Only use the hanging hook for hanging the spotlight. The hanging hook is not intended to support additional weight. Do not

attach anything additional to the spotlight or hang anything additional with the spotlight on the hook or risk of breakage may

occur.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Never submerge the unit in water. If the unit gets dirty, gently clean the outer surfaces of the spotlight unit with a soft cloth

moistened with a mild solution of water and detergent.

Bulb Replacement

  1.  Unplug the 12V DC Power Cord from the 12 volt DC accessory outlet of your vehicle or other 12 volt DC power source.

  2.  Push the rubber bezel forward toward the front of the spotlight to remove it.

  3.  Remove the molded handle cover from the handle.

  4.  Using a screwdriver, remove (counterclockwise) the six screws that secure the spotlight housing. Set them aside.

When handling a new halogen bulb, do not touch the glass portion of the bulb. Natural oils from your hands can cause the bulb to fail. If necessary, clean

the bulb with alcohol or a liquid window cleaner.

12 volt DC plug fuse replacement

The fuse in the plug end of the 12V DC Power Cord protects the spotlight. If the spotlight does not operate, then this fuse may be

opened (blown).
To replace the fuse:

  1. Unscrew the end cap of the DC plug (counterclockwise).
