This tool is double insulated; therefore no
earth wire is required. Always check that the
power supply corresponds to the voltage on the
rating plate.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or an authorised Stanley FatMax Service
Centre in order to avoid a hazard.
Using an extension cable
If an extension cable is required, use an approved 3–core
extension cable suitable for the power input of this tool (see
Technical data).The minimum conductor size is 1.5 mm2; the
maximum length is 30 m.
When using a cable reel, always unwind the cable completely.

Assembly and Adjustments
Warning! Before assembly, remove the battery from the tool
and make sure that the saw blade has stopped. Used saw
blades may be hot.
Fitting the saw blade: (Fig.A)

Lift dust cover (4).
u
Hold the saw blade (7) as shown, with the teeth
facing forward.
u
Push the blade clamp actuator (5) away from the shoe
plate (9).
u
Insert the shank of the saw blade into the blade clamp (6)
as far as it will go.
u
Release the blade clamp actuator (5).
u
Turn down dust cover (4).

Warning: 1.Always clean out all chips or foreign
matter adhering to blade and/or blade holder.
Failure to do so may cause insufficient tightening
of the blade, resulting in a serious personal injury.
2.Do not touch the blade or the workpiece immediately
after operation, they may be extremely hot and could burn
your skin.
3.Always secure the blade firmly. Insufficient tighten of the
blade may cause blade breakage or serious personal injury.
4. Use only T type blades. Using blades other than T type
blades cause insufficient tightening of the blade, resulting in a
