All soot deposits on the top of the oven underneath the hob should be brushed into the
firebox and using the flue brush provided with the cooker, the back flue pathway underneath
the bonnet should be cleaned (see Figure 3.7).

All soot deposits which have accumulated on the side of the oven should be brushed
downward as shown in Figure 3.8.

Open the oven door (2), remove the cleaning door (59) from underneath the oven cavity and
using the scraper tool (95) provided, remove all the accumulated deposits from the side flue,
back flue and base plate (see Figure 3.8). Replace the cleaning door.

Refit the oblong hotplate (19), the hot ring (20), the oven damper (63), the bonnet door (56)
and the hob cleaning cups (15) ensuring that the underside of each of these parts as been
thoroughly cleaned. When refitting the oblong hotplate ensure that the oblong hotplate seal
(76) is correctly positioned into the respective groove on the hob.
