1. PRZED PIERWSZYM UŻYCIEM

Scrub the wok with a scouring pad and hot water and dishwashing liquid.
•
Leave the cleaned wok to dry or place it on a low burner.
•
Once the wok is dry, apply a little sunflower or olive oil to the inside of the wok, spreading
it with a paper towel.
•
Now place the wok on high heat and wait until the bottom turns black. Then, holding the
handle, scorch the sides of the pan in stages. During the firing process, you can grease the
wok once more with oil.

The wok will continue to burn until it is covered with a glossy black layer.
•
Take care during the firing - close the kitchen door, turn on the fan, or open a window - a lot
of smoke will be released during the firing.
2. AFTER EACH USE OF THE WOK - MAINTAIN THE DISH
A wok will serve you for a long time if you take good care of it. In order to keep your wok clean,
you need to get a bamboo brush specifically designed for cleaning this dish. Alternatively, you
can replace the bamboo brush with a scouring pad. Always wash the wok with water only - do
not use detergents. When the wok is dry, apply a thin layer of oil and place it on the fire to pre-
serve the black coating.
If you notice excess oil, remove it with a paper towel. Not only will this protect the surface of
the wok from rusting, it will also make the cookware ready for the next use.
