Installation instructions
This multi-signalling device unit is an assembly of certified signalling devices and components.
The components used to manufacture the device are ATEX/IECEX certified for use in hazardous area
zones 1, 2 & 21, 22. As with all certified devices installation must take place in line with IEC60079-14 as well as
applicable local/national regulations.
Make sure the installation is done with care. Maintenance and cleaning must be carried out according to the valid
national regulations and the individual IOM sheet of the component.
The multiple signalling device unit is used for signalling of Visual or combined Audible & Visual signalling devices for
various applications.
The mechanical installation of the back plate must be done with suitable screws!
For simple electrical installation, the device is already pre-wired in the factory and only needs to be connected to the
system installation by an electrically qualified person in the connection box (wiring diagram, see Fig.).
Multi-signalling device unit are available as:

Visual signalling device unit device available in 1-, 2-, 3-, 4- and 5- way version .
•
combined Audible & Visual signalling device unit only available in 2,- 3,- and 4- way version. Sounder must be
installed on top!!

1st position at the type code is always closest to the terminal block.
