6.2
Installation
6.2.1 Electrical Connections / Schematic Diagram
See device labelling.
Connect the ribbon cable (included in scope of delivery 9192) to pac-Carrier 9195 or
HART termination board 9196.
Connect the pac-Carrier/HART termination board to 24 V DC auxiliary power.
Push the lateral notch lever on the 14-pole plug on the ribbon cable into the plug until it
snaps into place.
Push the RS485 plug completely into the socket and secure it with the lateral screws.

Parameterization and Commissioning
Before commissioning, carry out the following checks:
• Mounting and installation of the device according to regulations.
• Correct, secure connection of the cables.
• No damage to the device or the cables.
Do not commission the device until it has been successfully tested.
7.1
Replacement of the Device
• If replacing by a device with identical design, readjust the rotary switch, if necessary.
Operation under difficult conditions, in particular on ships, requires additional
measures to be taken for correct installation, depending on the operating location.

DANGER! Explosion hazard from operating the rotary switches in Zone 2 while they
are live!
Non-compliance may result in serious or even fatal injuries.
Adjust the rotary switches exclusively in a de-energised state.
