7.3.3 Cable Entries
The standard luminaire is equipped with 3 entries, 1 cable gland, 1 stopping plug and
1 cable gland with a red plug for test connection of the restricted breathing test.
Cable glands and stopping plugs must be approved for the following type of protection:
a) restriced breating (nR) and dust (IIIC)
b) increased safety (e)
Please observe the following, if cable glands and stopping plugs are used, but not
provided by R. STAHL Schaltgeräte GmbH:
• Range of the permissible cable diameters, torques, temperature range of use
• IP level of protection, at least IP 65 or according to rating plate details
• Operating instructions of the cable glands and the stopping plugsCarry out the
restricted breathing test after installation (see chapter "Restricted breathing test")
