8 Commissioning
Before commissioning, ensure the following:
• The device is installed according to regulations.
• The Ethernet cables are connected correctly.
• There is no damage to the device or connection cables.
• The conductors are clamped securely by the Ethernet terminals.
9 Maintenance, Overhaul, Repair
9.1 Maintenance
• Consult the relevant national regulations to determine the type and extent of
inspections and testing required.
• Tailor inspection intervals to the operating conditions.
At a minimum, check the following points during maintenance work on the device:
• Whether the conductors are clamped securely,
• Whether the PCB or the soldered-on Ethernet terminals are damaged or discoloured,
• Whether the permissible ambient temperatures are observed,
• Whether the device is being used in accordance with its intended use.
