Digital Code system
Beside the pilot tone process CTCSS your radio set is additionally
equipped with a digital code system that also permits to address specific
individual partner stations or groups or to receive only calls from the
latter. 83 different codes are available.
Note:
Make sure that you and your partner use the same channel and
the same digital code.
Activate digital code
1. Push the menu key three times:

2. Select the desired digital code by means of the UP or DOWN key.
3. Validate the digital code by means of the
PTT
key.

VOX function (phonetic transmission)
This function permits to send without activating the transmit key:
Voices/noises that hit the microphone thus switch on the transmitter
of the radio set.
Adjust the sensitivity according to the environmental noises, so that
the set switches from reception to transmission if your voice volume
is appropriate. You can select between 3 sensitivity levels (step 3 =
highest sensitivity).
