Energy management
The power consumption of this radio set is very small. If no signal is
received, the electronic battery stand-by mode is activated. If the
capacity of the batteries is too low, the radio set will emit an audio
warning that is repeated every 10 sec. Now you have to charge the
rechargeable batteries or replace the alkaline batteries.
Battery level indicator
Full capacity
Half capacity
Little capacity. An audio warning is emitted that is repeated
every 10 sec.: charge the batteries now.
No capacity. The battery symbol is flashing, an audio warning
is emitted and the radio set will be switched off automatically.
Operation/functions
Note:
If a setting is not activated within 10 seconds the radio set will
automatically adopt the last setting.
Switching on/off the radio set
Turning the controller (10) clockwise permits to switch the radio set
on, turning counter clockwise to switch it off. Switching on is accom-
panied by a beep sound.
Adjusting the volume
If the radio set is on the controller (10) permits to change the volume
(up: turn clockwise, down: turn counter clockwise).
Select channel
This function permits to select one of the eight channels.
Note:
Always adjust both radio sets to the same channel!
1. One push on the menu key (7): the channel number is flashing.
2. Select a free channel by means of the UP or DOWN key.
3. Validate by means of the
PTT
key.
