Monitor function
You may bypass the automatic squelch so that you can also hear weak
signals.
Activating/deactivating the monitor function
Push the
key three times, noises can be heard now.
Pressing the
PTT
key the automatic squelch is activated again.
Automatic scan
The automatic scan permits to find active channels quickly. It scans
independently all of the 8 channels and stops as soon as a signal
exceeds the squelch threshold. It will start anew, if no signal is available.
Activating/deactivating scan function
Press the Scan key

for a second, a beep tone sounds. You can
change the direction of the scanning by pushing the
s
/
t
keys.
Stop the scanning by pressing the
PTT
or the scan key.
Call tone
Push the
PTT
key twice: a call tone is emitted that is received by the
partner station and can also be heard in your own loudspeaker. The
LED is lit red.
LED spotlight
Holding the LED spotlight key pressed activates the spotlight, the
spotlight is switched off by releasing the key.
This function is also available if the radio set is switched off.
