IGBT or power MOSFET compatibility

From laboratory tests and performance estimates on this application, the switches used on 
the power section of the asymmetric forward converter can be IGBT or power MOSFET. 
Only some small modifications to the value of the gate resistor must be carried out when 
moving from IGBT to power MOSFET use. The demonstration board comes with an IGBT 
STGW35HF60WD MDMesh

TM

 II family device, and for this reason, on the electric 

schematic, the graphic symbol is related to this kind of switch.

In terms of power MOSFET, the suggested part to be fitted to the application is the new 
STW77N65M5 device.
