If your credit has run out and your supply switched off, once you have
credit on the meter again you will need to re-enable your supply. Supply
for both fuels can only be re-enabled from the meters.
Once you have topped up, the relay (pictured below in the bottom right
hand corner) will start to flash and a reconnection message will appear.
Press and hold buttons A and B together and the supply will reconnect.
Once a top up has been received by the meter a reconnection message
will appear on the first screen.
Ensure all you gas appliances are off and hold the centre button to re-
enable your supply.
The meter will then conduct a gas flow check before reconnecting.
This is to ensure there is no excess flow of gas (in the case of gas leaks or
appliances left on). If the gas flow is
deemed to be excessive, the valve will close. It is advisable not to use gas
appliances for up to 5 minutes after opening the valve.
If the valve has closed, check all gas appliances to confirm they are off
and reattempt re-enabling the supply. If there is a suspected gas leak, or
you can smell gas, call 0800 111 999 immediately.
