SPARK PLUGS

SPARK PLUGS

Spark plugs should be inspected periodically for carbon
deposits. When carbon accumulates on a spark plug, a strong
spark may not be produced.

If necessary, clean the electrodes with a fine wire brush and
carefully scrape the carbon off the insulator with a small file.
The spark plugs should then be blown clean with compressed
air and the upper insulator wiped clean. And adjust the spark
plug gap.

Service Interval

Replacement (G32D)

Change every 60,000 km

GASOLINE ENGINE

• When replacing the spark plugs, disconnect the negative terminal

of the battery and turn off all the switches.

• It is recommended that the engine be cool or cold when changing

the spark plugs (you could burn yourself).

• Do not use non-recommended spark plugs.

• Do not allow contaminants to enter spark plug hole.

CAUTION

Spark plugs may be very hot.

Be careful not to burn yourself.
