PARKING AID SYSTEM*

When you move the gear selector
lever to “R” position, the alarm
sounds according to the distance
from obstacle to vehicle. The
alarm interval becomes faster as
the obstacle approaches.

Parking Aid System

When the gear selector lever is shifted into “R” position, the
parking aid system is activated and the sensors in rear
bumper detect the distance to obstacle. You can figure out
the distance from obstacle to vehicle with the alarming sound
and the display in multimeter.

Obstacle Detecting Sensor

This message appears when the rear detecting
sensor is defective.

Sensor Check

Multimeter

The number of displaying bars is decreased as the ob-
stacle approaches.
