AUTO Light

Headlamp and tail lamp will automatically
come on or off according to the ambient il-
lumination intensity when the light switch is
at “AUTO”.

Battery Saver (Automatically Turns Off

the Lights)

To prevent the battery from discharging, the
tail lamp will be go out automatically when
the driver get off (open and close the
driver's door) with the tail lamp ON.
•

You may turn the tail lamp on by posi-
tioning the ignition switch on or turning
the light switch off then turn on again.

CAUTION

•

Do not place any objects blocking
the sensor. Do not clean the sen-
sor with detergent or wax.

•

In a foggy, snowy, rainy, or cloudy
day, be sure to use manual mode.
The turning on or off time of the
lamps varies depending on the
climate, season, or circumstances.

•

The sun proof coating that can af-
fect the illumination intensiry in-
side the vehicle may cause the mal-
function of the lighting system.

•

Ssangyong recommends you to use
this device restrictively in only a
sunrise or sunset. For the normal
operation of the lamps, turn on or
off manually.

•

To prevent the battery from
discharging, do not leave the light
on while engine is off.

LIGHT SWITCH WARNING CHIME

The chime sounds to remind you to turn off
the lights if the driver’sdoor is opened with
them switched on when the ignition key is
removed
