IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS 

Warnings and important safety instruc­

tions appearing in this manual are not 

meant to cover all possible conditions 

and situations that may occur. Common 

sense, caution and care must be exercised 

when installing, maintaining, or ope rating 

the appliance.

When using any electrical appliance, basic 

sa fe ty precautions should always be ad­

hered to inclu ding the following:

Read all instructions before using the 
appliance.

To protect against risk of electrical 
shock ne ver let the power unit, plug 
or cord get wet. do not put the unit in 
water or any other liquids.

do not let the cord hang over the edge 
of the worktop or table, or get in touch 
with hot surfaces. do not place the ap­
pliance near hot surfaces, such as gas/
electric hobs or in a heated oven.

This appliance is not intended for use 
by persons (including children) with 
reduced physical, sensory or mental 
capabilities, or lack of experience and 
knowledge, un less they have been 
given supervision or instruction con­
cerning use of the appliance by a per­
son responsible for their safety.

Close supervision is necessary when 
any appliances are used near children.

  

Never leave the appliance un at ten­
ded whilst it is switched on.

Unplug from the mains socket when 
the appliance is not in use, or before 
fitting or removing parts, and before 
cleaning.

Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep 
hands and utensils out of the bowl 
whilst connected to the power supply. 
Remove the bla de unit before empty­
ing the bowl.

do not operate any appliance with a 
da ma ged cord or plug, or after the 
appliance is dropped or damaged in 
any manner. Return the appliance to 
the nearest authorised service facility 
for examination, repair or mechanical 
adjustment.

carry a risk of injury to persons.

This appliance is not suitable for pro­
cessing very hard foods, such as ice 
cubes, coffee beans, hard spices, grind­
ing granulated sugar to caster sugar, 
or processing hot liquids. Only process 
small amount of food at a time.
