The appliance can be used by children under the age of 8 and by people with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, or without experience or the
necessary knowledge, as long as they are supervised or after they have received
instructions relating to the safe use of the appliance and an understanding of the
dangers inherent to it. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
maintenance intended to be carried out by the user must not be carried out by
unsupervised children.
If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or its technical assistance service or in any case by a person with similar
qualifications, in order to prevent any risk.
Keep
the appliance at a safe distance from delicate parts of the body such as: ears,
mouth, eyes ect.
Never leave
the equipment unattended whilst in use.
Never try to vacuum
: explosive liquids or vapours, undiluted acids or solvents,
mud, petrol, paint thinner or fuel oil, inflammable or toxic liquids such as toner for
photocopiers or other volatile substances, (materials which when sucked into a vortex
with aspirated air could develop explosive vapours or mixtures), acetone, undiluted
acids and solvents (materials which could corrode the appliance), cigarette-end sif
still alight, hot coals and so forth, asbestos or asbestos dust.
Never leave
the plug connected to the mains when the appliance is not being used.
During cleaning, maintenance or replacement of the parts,
switch
the motor
off
and
disconnect
the plug from the mains.
Regularly check
that the power supply cable has not been damaged, squashed,
ripped ect.
Regularly check
that the power supply cable does not show signs of wear or other
types of deterioration.
Care must be taken
that the mains connection lead is not damaged by being driven.
the appliance should not be used if the power supply cable is not in perfect condition.
Do not use the cable to pull the plug out of the socket.
If electrical extension cords are used, make sure they are equipped with sockets with
a minimum IPX4 degree of protection and compatible with the vacuum cleaner plug.
the machine should never be dipped into water or washed with pressure water jet
used for cleaning.
Should foam/liquid/dust come out of the machine, switch it off immediately.
For a longer life of the appliance, the vacuum cleaner should be properly stored away
from strong heat sources, humidity, dust and atmospheric agents.
Do not leave the vacuum cleaner outside and do not use it under the rain.
