5. A red light will appear to the right of COOK when in COOK mode or
to the right of TEMP when in TEMP mode. To change heating
modes, simply press the COOK/TEMP button again to toggle
between the two modes.
6. The LED display in the lower, center of the induction range surface
will display the setting. To increase the setting, press the “+”
button. To decrease the setting, press “
-
”.
7. To ensure the setting does not change unintentionally, press the
lock button on the side of the range to lock the controls. The ring
around the lock button will illuminate blue. The settings and
ON/OFF button will not function when the lock in engaged.
8. To enable the settings and ON/OFF button, simply press the lock
button again and the blue ring around the button should no longer
be illuminated.
9. The induction range will continue to heat until the selected setting
is reached. Once the setting is reached, the range will maintain that
setting.
10. To turn off the unit, press the ON/OFF button. No LED lights should
be illuminated.
Operation
To operate the induction range, induction-ready vessels must be used.
•
Glass serving vessels are not suited for use on the induction range.
•
Vessels must have a flat base in order to make full contact with the
range. Vessels that are footed, or that have a raised ridge, are not
suited for the induction range.
•
Vessels must have a base diameter greater than 4.7”.
Follow the below steps for operating the induction range:
1. Plug in the unit. Press the ON/OFF button.
2. Place the vessel on the induction range surface.
3. The range has two heating modes: COOK and TEMP.
4. Press the COOK/TEMP button to begin heating.

NOTICE:
As a safety feature, if no induction ready vessel is placed
on the surface after 2.5 minutes, the unit will shut off.
Do not touch the top surface of the induction range
immediately after heating and removing a vessel. The
top surface may be hot due to heat transferred from the
vessel.

COOK mode offers high-speed heating, used for
sautéing, omelet stations, pasta bars or
demonstration cooking. Settings in this mode are
power levels 1-20.
•
TEMP mode offers thermostatically controlled holding
temperatures for use with soups, sauces or pasty
work. Settings in this mode are in increments of 10
degrees from 110°F
–
400°F ( 43°C - 204°C)
