CLEANING
For utmost luminaire performance the lens must be
kept as clean as possible.
To do so, after disconnecting the luminaire from the
mains, you can open the top covers

and clean the
lens with a soft cloth dampened with alcohol.
MAINTENANCE
The luminaire must be serviced at least once a year, to
check the integrity of its electrical and mechanical parts.
For this purpose, you should conctact only a qualified
dealer, to ensure proper service.
RECYCLING
The product must be recycled or disposed
of, according to Directive 2002/96/CE.
INSERTING AND CHANGING THE LAMP
• To open the lamp cover, rotate knobs

• To replace the old lamp, rotate the socket counter-
clockwise of 1/4 turn and extract it from its
lodgemeent.
• To mount the new lamp, insert the lamp into the
lampsocket hole (taking care not to touch the quartz
bulb) so that each of the two socket contacts (of
different size) fits respectively in its appropriate
lodgement. Then, rotate the socket clockwise of 1/4
turn, till the lamp blocks.
• If necessary, adjust the three screws

to better
centre the lamp and improve the light output.
• Using the appropriate knobs

, close the safety lamp
cover.
SWITCHING ON AND FOCUSING
• When focusing the luminaire, do not exceed the
working position indicated on the label of the lantern
• The luminaire should be at the minimum distance
from the object it is illuminating, as indicated on the
label.
• Turn the lamp on and off by the mains switch

Using the side handle

it is possible to loosen the
projector when it is locked in a certain position and
thus change its inclination.
For the pan regulation, use the handle

The light beam can be made wider or narrower (zoom
and focus) sliding the two knobs

on the right side
of the luminaire that allow control of the lens holder
trolleys.
The size of the beam spread can be adjusted from full
size to blackout by the diaphragm control lever

The colour filters can be enabled using the appropriate
levers

, and disabled using the release lever

At its first switching on, the lantern may produce a
little smoke. This should be considered as normal at first
exposure to heath of the parts close to the lamp.
WARNING:
Always disconnect the luminaire from the
mains before accessing the lamp cover or
the inside of the unit.
