DESCRIPTION OF THE LUMINAIRE

INTRODUCTION
The luminaire you have bought conforms to 73/23/EEC,
EN 60598-1 and EN 60598-2-17 standards.
The label located on the side of the luminaire lists the
following information:
• model
• mains voltage (V)
• lamp wattage (W)
• protection index IP
• maximum allowed ambient temperature in C°
• maximum temperature of the luminaire body in C°
• minimum distance from flammable surfaces
• information to find the position 0° of the luminaire:
when the tip of the arrow points upwards
• maximum tilt angle range. These limits, imposed by
the lamp manufacturer, should not be exceeded as
they would reduce the lamp useful life or lead to its
deterioration.
INSTALLATION
• The luminaire has been designed for professional use
only.
• The products are intended for indoor use:
consequently they have to be protected from humidity
and rain, if used in different conditions (IP 20)
• Do not install the luminaire close to, or in contact
with flammable surfaces.
• Read carefully the information label on the side of the
luminaire.
• Do not forget to connect a safety rope, if required by
local country safety regulations
• The luminaires can be either suspended, or mounted
on a stand, by turning the yoke upside-down.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Your luminaires have been designed for 220V - 240V
supply voltage, 50-60Hz.
The power cables comply with standards CEI 20-35.
Before and during the installation, follow the
instructions below:
• Always check the efficiency of the ground connection
of the electrical line you are using.
• Verify that the luminaire voltage is correct for the
main voltage
• Do not use lamps other than indicated on the table
(page 7)
• The luminaire
cannot be connected to a dimmer
.
WARNING: The luminaire must always be
earthed
WARNING: replace immediately the lamp
and/or lenses if visibly damaged.
