Evolution 12-25 D
SWITCHING ON THE LAMP
For models designed for switching the lamp on by
DMX control (Evo 25), this is done selecting the
corrisponding channel (see following instructions in
chapter “DMX Adjustment”) and refer to the switch
on diagram (MANUAL and AUTO mode) shown on the
following pages.
For models without switch on of lamp by DMX (Evo 12)
press the appropriate button for approx. 2 seconds to
switch on the lamp.
In luminaires using cold restrike lamps, wait a few
minutes between each switching on.
Do not insist in switching on a hot lamp since this will
unnecessarily reduce lamp life.
On switching on its first, the luminaire may produce a
little smoke. This should be considered as normal at first
exposure to heath of the parts closer to the lamp.
SWITCHING OFF THE LAMP
For the models with DMX control, set the value of the
control channel of the lamp within the appropriate
range (see following instructions and table in chapter
“DMX Adjustment”).
For other models (Evo 12), switch on the mains on the
ballast.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Your luminaire has been designed for a supply voltage
of 220-240V, 50Hz
The power cable complies with standards CEI 20-35.
Before and during the installation, follow the
instructions below:
• Always check the earth wiring for the line being used
• Ensure the voltage for the unit is the same as the one
used for the supply (220-240V, 50Hz)
• Verify the luminaire is connected to the ballast
⑯
• The product is designed for indoor use: consequently
it has to be protected from dampness and rain, if used
in different conditions
• Do not use lamps wich are different from the ones
listed in the lamp table
• The luminaire can not be connected to dimmer.
It is fitted with an internal mechanical dimmer, DMX
controlled.
• Connect the DMX cable to the appropriate 5 pole XLR
connector marked “DMX IN”
• Power the luminaire with the switch on the ballast
• Select the channel for dimmer adjustment on the
display of dmx control
⑬
• For models fitted with switching on and off of the
lamp by DMX control, select the appropriate dimmer
channel for this function (see following instruction in
chapter “DMX Adjustment”)
WARNING: The luminaire must always be
grounded
WARNING: When switched on, lamp produces
high tension for a few seconds.
