Attaching the Beeper 400 to a Collar

The Beeper 400 attaches to the 
included collar strap. It will also fi t 
most other sporting-style collar straps 
(

/

 inch thick and 1 inch wide). To 

attach, remove one or both of the 
beeper’s end lids and thread the collar 
though the brackets. Position the 
beeper behind the dog’s head. If you 
are using a Collar Receiver, it should 
be positioned directly under the dog’s 
neck as shown in the photo.

Turning the Beeper 400 On/Off

• Choose between the features and adjust the switches 

accordingly. 

• Make sure the Volume Switch is set to the LOW position for 

fi rst time use. Then tighten the lid snugly to ensure the lid is 
watertight. 

• Insert the 3-volt lithium 

battery (CR123A) with the 
“+” end pointing outward 
and tighten the lid.  

• The position of the lid 

serves as the ON/OFF 
switch. When the lid becomes 
diffi cult to turn, align the dot with the 
ON or OFF position.
