2B. DISTANCE
After selecting distance as the workout goal, use
/
keys in the setting area
or numeric keys (0-9) to establish a workout distance value. Use the
key to
enter decimal points, such as 12.5 or 0.25. Press the ENTER key to confirm your
setting and proceed to set the age value.
Notes about the distance setting mode follow:
The distance setting range is from 0.1 to 99.9 miles or kilometers, with a default
value of 2.0 miles (3.0 kilometers).
After distance is selected as the workout goal, the DISTANCE key LED remains lit.
The setting window shows the default value of 3.00. The message window shows
either
depending on the distance unit
setting.
If no keys are pressed for six seconds, the following appears on the message
screen for two seconds:

When
/
keys in the setting area are pressed briefly, distance values
change by 0.25 mile or 0.4 kilometers, depending on the distance unit setting. If
/
keys in the setting area are held down for one second, time values change
by 0.25 mile or 0.4 kilometers every 0.2 second.
When using numeric keys (0-9) and decimal keys, digit placement is determined
as shown in the following example.

To return to the first step, while the setting value flashes, press any numeric key
To enter decimal values, press the decimal
