INTRODUCTION
INSTALLATION
1. Identify your unit from the data plate on it.
2. Assemble the suction hose to the stainless-steel extension tubes and a suitable pickup accessory.
3. Remove the vacuum cleaner head by unlatching the clamps and remove any accessories that may have
been packed at bottom of the tank.
4. Connect the solution lines to both the outlet on the head of the unit as well as the inlet of the accessory
(All connection are snap couplings please make sure they are closed after connecting
5. Check that the float functions correctly on the unit.
6. Place the extraction cleaner head on top of the tank and re-clamp it making sure that the power cord is
opposite to the tank inlet.
7. Check that the voltage supply is the same as the one listed on the technical data / data plate on the unit.
8. Ensure the switch/switches are off (
position O
) and connect to a power outlet making sure all instructions
in the Electricity Supply/ Earthing and Extension cord sections are followed.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
TO START AND USE
EXTRACTION
1. Before turning on the unit make sure the float is operating correctly and that the recovery tank is empty
and dry.
2.
Do not attempt to pick up flammable / toxic / explosive materials.
3.
Never attempt to use this unit for Dry dust pick up as this will cause damage.
4. Fill the solution tank with a mixture of water and an approved chemical. Do not exceed 40
0
C and never
use high foaming chemicals as they will lead to damage in the unit. (At times the use a foam suppressing
chemical might be required).
5. Start the unit vacuum motors and pump by turning the switches on (
position I). Note:
In two motors units
to obtain maximum suction 2 motor switches have to be turned on.
6. Operate the tool by pulling the trigger mechanism and moving back the tool in a linear motion.
7. Never leave the pump switched on for extended periods of time without pulling the trigger as this can lead
to damage.
8. Should the float stop airflow or foaming is noticed stop the unit immediately and empty the tank.
9. When finished turn off (
position O
– all switches where necessary)
and
disconnect the unit from the
power point. Make sure all switches are off as leaving the pump running will cause damage.
10. Empty the recovery tank using the supplied evacuation hose.
11. Empty the solution tank.
12. Remove the Vacuum Cleaner head by unlatching the clamps, make sure the recovery tank is clean,
replace the head making sure the power cord is opposite the tank inlet and relatch the clamps.
