PREPARING FOR USE
In order to ensure safe use of the equipment, all screws and nuts, clamping handles,
and other items used for clamping and locking must be securely tightened or fitted
after each adjustment.
The capstan wheel can be fitted on the right (a) or left (b) side of the carriage, according
to the circumstances.
Check to ensure that the capstan wheel is securely attached.
SETTING-UP: FASTENING THE BASE PLATE
Fastening using an anchor plug in concrete
1) Mark the centre point for fastening the base plate at a distance
of 275 mm from the centre point of the bore, or use the centre gauge.
2) Drill a hole of Ø 15 mm for the Spit Grip M12 anchor plug.
Insert and expand the plug.
