INSTALLATION
Regulations and Standards
This appliance must be installed in accordance with the local and National/European
standards in force. Failure to install the appliance correctly could invalidate any warranty or
liability claims and lead to prosecution.. Particular attention must be given to the
requirements regarding location and ventilation. Read the instructions before installing or
using this appliance.
In your own interest of safety, the appliance should be installed by a member of the
N.I.C.E.I.C. and who will comply with the I.E.E and local regulations.

Installation
This appliance must be installed according to the relevant local and national/European
standards in force.
This appliance is suitable for installation into Holiday Homes, Touring Caravans and Boats.
In all cases the national standards with regard to appliance location and ventilation for the
particular vehicle into which the appliance is to be installed must be adhered to.
Position
A cut out should be prepared in the worktop as shown in fig 1. A direct distance of 100mm
must exist between the edge of the hotplate and combustible material unless protected by
a layer of non-combustible material, as shown in fig. 4.
A foam seal is supplied to seal the underside of the appliance to the worktop, the seal
should be attached to the appliance prior to positioning on the worktop. The appliance is
then held in place using the 4 fixing bushes and No4 woodscrews supplied, as shown
in fig. 3.
All combustible materials such as curtains and shelves must be kept well clear of the
appliance. Any fitments such as a cupboard above the appliance must have a minimum
clearance of 500mm between the fitment and the top of the hotplate – see fig 4.
The underside of the appliance must be shielded. It is recommended that the shield is
fabricated from non-combustible material, but if the enclosure is manufactured from
combustible material, then a minimum air space of 100mm must exist between the
material and the lowest part of the appliance. THIS AIR SPACE MUST BE WELL
VENTILATED – SEE FIG 5.
