4.5.
Switching gears
The truck is provided with an automated mechanical gearbox.
The gearbox operates the coupling and chooses the right gear fully automatically.
Manual operation is also possible.
The gearbox chooses the right gear depending on the following factors:
•
Driving resistance;
•
Mass of the vehicle;
•
State of the accelerator;
•
Vehicle speed;
•
Diesel engine speed.

Select one gear up;

Select two gears up;

CAUTION!
It is not permitted to leave the driver’s position when the engine is running and the
acceleration is enabled!
CAUTION!
Switching gears is only possible on a running diesel engine.
