IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS

When using the Microwave oven, you must observe all of the following 

precautions: Carefully read all the instructions before you start using it.

PRECAUTIONS FOR AVOIDING EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE 

EXPOSURE

• To avoid harmful microwave exposure, never use the oven with the 

door open for any reason.

• To ensure safety, it is absolutely forbidden to tamper with the locking 

devices.

• Do not place any object between the oven door and the front surface 

of the oven.

• Carefully clean the sealing gasket surfaces after each use to avoid 

buildup of dirt or detergent residue.

• IMPORTANT WARNING: Do not use the oven for any reason if the 

door or its sealing gasket is damaged. 

The oven should be repaired only by specialised technicians.

• Read this manual before use and keep it for future reference.

• Any other use not indicated in this instruction manual is considered 

improper and dangerous. Spice electronics can not be held liable if 

there is damage to things or people from incorrect or misleading uses.

• Use the oven only for its intended purpose as described in this 

manual. 

Do not expose the appliance to or its interior to corrosive vapours or 

chemicals.

• The oven is specifically designed for home use; it is not designed for 

industrial or laboratory applications.

• Do not use the appliance when it is empty.

• Never use the oven in the event of damage to the power cord and/or 

to the plug, or malfunction due to falls, shocks or other accidents. For 

a functional check, a tune-up or repair of the appliance, contact an an 

authorised Service Centre.

• This device can be used by children aged 8 and older and by persons 

with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience 

and knowledge, if they are

assured of adequate supervision or if they have received 

comprehensive instructions about the safe use of the appliance and 

that they have understood the related dangers.

• Children must not play with the appliance.

• Cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by children 

unless they have more than 8 years of age and are under supervision.

• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 

years.

• The device should not be operated by means of an external timer or 

with a separate remote control system.

• When the microwave is used in combination mode, it should not be 

operated by children under 8 years of age given the high 

temperatures that can be generated.  In such cases, the appliance 

should be used under adult supervision.

• When the oven is used by children or in their presence, constant and 

alert adult supervision is required.

• Make sure the appliance is positioned on flat and stable surface. The 

manufacturer can not be held responsible if an incorrect installation 

will cause damage to things or people.

• Never leave the appliance connected to the power supply if it is 

unused.

• Ensure that your electrical system complies with the values indicated 

in the nameplate data and that the power outlet socket is earthed.

• To avoid the risk of fire and/or electric shock, do not put in the oven

food pieces that are too large or metal objects of any kind.

• To prevent flames from developing inside the cooking compartment:

1- Do not miss the oven in operation when heating food inside plastic 

containers or paper.

2- Before storing containers or plastic bags or paper in the oven, 

remove all metal components such as handles, laces etc ...

3- If smoke is released from inside the oven, switch off the oven and 

disconnect it, keep the door closed to suffocate any flames.

4- Do not use the cooking compartment as a storage compartment 

for food, paper or kitchen utensils.

• To avoid the risk of fire, keep the oven away from walls, curtains, 

carpets and other inflammable objects while in operation. Do not 

place any object on the oven while it is in operation.

• The oven must be cleaned regularly to avoid deterioration of the 

surfaces which would adversely affect the life of the appliance and 

give rise to a hazard.

• After each use, clean the cooking chamber with a damp cloth, 

followed by a dry cloth to remove any residual food fragments that 

could cause smoke or fire.

• Before using the oven for the first time, run it for 10 minutes with

a container of water inside the cooking chamber to eliminate any 

residual fumes or odours from the manufacturing process.

• For models incorporating a grill, repeat the operation with the grill 

switched on.

• All surfaces of the appliance will become hot during use.

• Do not touch heating elements or interior walls until the complete 

cooling of the oven.

• To avoid the risk of electrical shock, never clean the oven interior with 

steel wool: released fragments could cause a short circuit.

• This microwave oven is intended for heating food and drinks. It is 

hazardous if used to dehydrate food; to dry clothes; to heat warming 

pads, slippers, sponges, damp cloths, or similar items as this may 

cause material to ignite, leading to fire and personal injury.

• IMPORTANT: DO NOT heat liquids or food in sealed containers; they 

may explode causing serious injury.

• Be careful when heating liquids, MICROWAVE HEATING may cause 

delayed boiling: take care when handling containers containing 

heated liquids. After turning off the oven, wait for at least 20 seconds 

to allow the temperature of liquids to stabilise.

• Do not use the Microwave for frying food; hot oil will damage the 

oven and may cause serious burns.

• Never cook eggs in their shells or reheat boiled eggs, these may 

explode during heating or at the end of the heating cycle.

• Food items with particularly resistant skins, such as potatoes, 

pumpkins, apples, chestnuts, must be prepared by piercing small 

holes in the skins before microwave cooking.

• IMPORTANT: When heating liquids contained in BABY'S BOTTLES 

or children's containers, always shake the contents once heated and 

always check the temperature before consumption to avoid the risk of 

burns.

• Always use a kitchen glove or oven mitts to handle cooking utensils 

that could become very hot due to the heat transferred from food.

• Only use microwave-safe cooking containers. DO NOT use metal 

containers, tableware with gold or silver finish, skewers, forks, etc.

• WARNING: It is dangerous and absolutely forbidden to remove any 

appliance cover panels that provide protective screening against 

microwave radiation. Only authorised technicians may undertake 

these operations.

• Avoiding damage to the turntable plate:

1- After a heating cycle, allow the turntable plate to cool before 

cleaning it.

2- Do not place hot food or utensils on the turntable plate.

3- Do not place frozen foods or utensils on the turntable plate when it
