The distance-to-spot ratio is 12:1. As the distance from the
object increases, the spot size of the area measured also
increases.

ADVANCED FUNCTIONS
High Alarm (HAL)
1. Pull the
Trigger
(3), then press the
Function
(19) but-
ton until
HAL
(12)
appears on the display.
2. Use the ▲ or
buttons to set the high alarm value.
3. The Thermometer will beep when the temperatire
reading is higher than the alarm setting.
4. When the adjustments are complete, the thermometer
will return to the
SCAN
(8) mode after approximately six
seconds
Low Alarm (LAL)
1. Pull the
Trigger
(3), then press the
Function
(19) but-
ton until
LAL
(12)
appears on the display.
2. Use the ▲ or
buttons to set the low alarm value.
3. The Thermometer will beep when the temperatire
reading is lower than the alarm setting.
4. When the adjustments are complete, the thermometer
will return to the
SCAN
(8) mode after approximately six
seconds
