water, moisture or damp areas

heat sources, direct sunlight or unventilated areas
o
devices which generate strong magnetic fields
o
areas where the handset can be covered, its ventilation impaired, liquid spilled on the
unit or objects inserted into the handset through any openings.

areas with temperature extremes

Check for small metal objects in the handset earpiece/mouthpiece before using the hand-
set.

Do not store or locate flammable liquids, gases, or explosive materials in the same com-
partment or vicinity as the cordless handset, its parts or accessories.

fully to ensure that you understand the handset’s operating conditions.
Potentially Explosive Atmospheres
Do not take your handset into any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere. Do not remove,
install, or charge batteries in such areas. Sparks in a potentially explosive atmosphere can cause
an explosion or fire resulting in bodily injury or even death.
