FIG.6 WARNING! Always use the proper Tower Stud length
that corresponds to the chosen Spacer Stack shown in the
Spacer Stack/Tower Stud table. When the proper Tower Stud
length is used, there should be approximately 12-20mm of
exposed threads above the installed Spacer Stack. Use of an
incorrect Tower Stud length (either too long or too short) may
compromise the structural integrity of the assembly.
The spacers are keyed to fit only one way. Make sure the stack
spacers are not installed upside down.

Place the Extension Socket on top of the stack, install the Stud
Nuts and torque to 80 in-lbf / 9.0 Nm.
ARM CUP AND EXTENSION POSITION

A
Fig.8:
Determine if the Crossbar will be positioned in front (A) or behind
(B) the Extension Socket, based on fit preference.
9
Fig.9:
Grease then install the lockplate inside each Crossbar cavity
prior to installing the extensions.
A dab of grease behind the Crossbar Lockplate can help retain
the Lockplate in place while installing the extension. Do not
grease the interface between the Lockplate and the extension.
If the Crossbar will be positioned in front of the Extension
Socket, the extensions need to be installed in the Crossbar first.
If the Crossbar will be positioned behind the Extension Socket,
the extensions need to be installed in the Extension Socket first.

OPTIONAL 10°
WEDGE
Fig.10:
A wedge can be positioned beneath the Arm Cups to angle the
Arm Cups 10 degrees upward.
Adjust your Crossbar position fore-aft, and fine-tune the Arm Cup position
fore-aft and laterally as necessary to achive the desired fit. Reposition the
Crossbar in front or behind the Extension Socket as necessary.
