b) Device connection
Only one source device per input channel can be operated. It is theoretically possible to engage all the connection
slots of a channel input, but then only one of the connected source devices can be turned on and used. The A/V
selector switch would otherwise not function properly, since it can only process one signal per channel. But for
reasons of safety, only plug in one source device per input.
Make sure that all cable types used for the inputs are also used for the output to ensure faultless transmission of
the output signal. If, e.g. a SCART cable is connected to Input 1, and an S-VHS cable to Input 2, both a SCART
cable and an S-VHS cable have to be connected to the output.

1. Connect the A/V selector switch to the line voltage via the power
supply unit.
2. Connect the output device, e.g., television set, to the output (10)
by means of the respective connection system on the A/V selector
switch.
3. Connect all required source devices (up to five) to the inputs of the
A/V selector switch (5, 6, 7, 8, 9) .
4. Afterward, make sure that all source devices to be connected and
the output device are turned on.

7. Operation
a) Manually
1. Turn the A/V selector switch on with the ON/OFF switch on the side. The red power supply LED lights up.
2. Press the “

3. Switch off the device if it is no longer needed. The red LED goes off.
b) Remote control
Battery installation / exchanging batteries
Observe correct polarity while inserting the batteries. Remove the batteries if the device is not used for a
long period of time to avoid damage through leaking. Leaking or damaged batteries might cause acid burns
when contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective gloves to handle corrupted batteries.
Keep batteries out of reach of children. Do not leave the battery lying around, as there is risk, which children
or domestic pets could swallow it.
Replace all the batteries at the same time. Mixing old and new batteries in the device can lead to battery
leakage and device damage.
Make sure that batteries are not dismantled, short-circuited or thrown into fire. Never recharge non-
rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
