Inserting Batteries / Replacing Batteries
Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
Ensure the polarity is correct, when inserting the batteries.
Remove the batteries, if you are not going to use the megaphone for a while, to pre-
vent damage from leaking batteries. Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable
batteries can cause acid burns upon contact with skin. Thus, you should wear pro-
tective gloves when handling damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Keep them out of the reach of children. Never use batteries from different manufac-
turers or with different levels of charge at the same time.
The battery must not be short-circuited or thrown into a fire. Do not attempt to
recharge the batteries. Danger of explosion.
• Open the metal clip on the top of the housing and lift the cover.
• Insert eight new 1.5V round cells (C) in the battery holder of the battery compartment, paying atten-
tion to the polarity markings.
• Push the batteries back into the battery compartment. Please make sure you insert the batteries in
the battery compartment with correct polarity.
• Close the housing cover and close the metal clip again.
• If the maximum volume decreases or the device no longer works, the batteries are flat and need to
be replaced.
• To ensure a long battery life, only use alkaline types.
• The use of rechargeable batteries means a lower volume and shorter operating time because of the
lower voltage and capacity.
Operation
Do not point the megaphone directly at people or animals.
Keep a sufficient distance from other people and pay attention when setting an
appropriate volume level, in order to avoid hearing damage.
Announcement mode
• Press the speaker button by the microphone to the side, to make an announcement. Speak clearly
