10. TROUBLESHOOTING

  

Not all problems with functioning of the device, are the evidence of failure. You can independently carry 

out an analysis in search of probable failure. In case of doubt, please contact to SPARTUS® dealer or 

authorized service center.

  

During the warranty period all repairs should be carried by authorized service center. Repairs carried 

out by unauthorized persons will void the warranty.

PROBLEM WITH TURNING ON THE MACHINE

After turning on the unit the fan is not working, 

digital meter is working. The unit does not cut.

Incorrectly connected power. Switching  

on voltage control system.

Unstable supply voltage. Too thin power cords  

or incorrectly connected power cables.

Incorrectly turned on power switch. Switching  

on control system overvoltage.

Failure of power switch.

After turning on the switch the device  

does not respond.

Poorly connected to the supply voltage.

Failure of power switch.

PLASMA CUTTING PROBLEMS

Oblique or too wide kerf.

Worn nozzle.

Worn electrode.

Unstable, intermittent plasma arc.

Too low compressed air pressure.

Excessive voltage drops in a mains.

Too thin supply lines

 (working with extension cord).

An excessive amount of scale  

on the bottom edge of the workpiece.

Too low plasma cutting speed.

Too low plasma cutting current.

Problems with penetrating through the material.

Too low plasma cutting current.

Incorrect connection of return cable or there is no 

connection of return cable.

OTHER

Lights an abnormal indicator.  

Overheat protection is on.

Excessive cutting current. Exceeded duty cycle.

Lights an abnormal indicator.  

Overvoltage protection is on.

Too high a voltage spike in a mains.

Excessive voltage drops in a mains.

Too many devices are connected  

at one time to the network.

Lights an abnormal indicator „Protect”.

Incorrectly mounted shield nozzle.

The problem with setting the parameters.

Interference caused external factors.
