Open the VLC Media Player program (Fig.18-1). Your video files can now be viewed from your
hard drive or the memory card.

To view, choose “File,” and then “Quick Open File” (Fig.18-2) to bring up a file browser. If you
backed up your video files (Section B), find the storage folder and open to view. If you did not
back up your video file, access the memory card folder (“My Computer

The video should now appear on the VLC Media Player (Fig 18-4). Use the icons at the top of the
window to control the audio and video playback. For more advanced video controls, use the drop-

In order to play the mpeg4 video files on your computer, you need a video player capable of
playing these video files. The player that SPARTAN TOOL recommends is the “VLC MEDIA
PLAYER” which is provided on the memory card (Fig17-1). The video player can also be
downloaded from the player website. www.videolan.org
