Assemble the Upper Elevator

ATTACH THE ELEVATOR TUBE ASSEMBLY

2.

While the system is securely resting on the sawhorse, install the elevator tubes (21 and 22) to the

top pole section (3) using the bolts (A5), washers (A3), bushings (A4), and nuts (A2).

WARNING

TIGHTEN THE BOLTS (A5) IN THE LOCK NUTS (A2) UNTIL FLUSH (EVEN) WITH THE LOCK NUT’S OUTER EDGE.

NOTE

TEST-FIT THE LARGE BOLTS INTO THE LARGE HOLES OF THE ELEVATOR TUBES AND BACKBOARD BRACKETS.

CAREFULLY ROCK THEM IN A CIRCULAR MOTION TO REAM OUT ANY EXCESS PAINT FROM HOLES, IF NECESSARY.
