4.3. What to do if something goes wrong
Before contacting our service help line, please check the
following points:
There is no power to the appliance:
Check that there is not a power cut
Check that there is power to the cooker socket and appliance
Check that the circuit fuse/trip switch has not blown/tripped
There is power to the appliance but the oven(s) will not heat up:
Check that the control knob(s) has been set to the correct
operational setting as described in sections 3.1 and 3.2.
Check that the main oven control knob has not been accidentally
set to Position 2. (Fan only – Defrosting) Refer to Section 3.2.
The oven(s) operates but the oven light will not work:
Check the bulb(s) and replace as described in Section 4.2.
Please note that bulbs are not covered under your guarantee
There is a hot smell and/or smoke coming from the appliance when
used:
This is quite normal - your appliance has been protected with a
light coating of machine oil during production, this will burn off
after the appliance has been used several times.
