III.F – UNHITCHING
The disconnection of the implement from the tractor must be carried out on a flat and firm
surface. It’s a dangerous operation, pay attention. Please read the following instructions
carefully:
1.
Once reached the parking position, while remaining in the driving seat, put the
tractor PTO in neutral position
2.
When the PTO drive shaft has completely stopped, turn off the engine, engage the
parking brake and remove the ignition key
3.
Get off the tractor and place the rear roller in a desired position
4.
Get on the tractor, insert the ignition key, turn on the engine and lower the
implement on the ground (check that tines and rear roller correctly and firmly rest on
the ground)
5.
(if present) Disconnect implement hydraulic hoses from tractor distributor and place
them in their holders or insert the plug on each hose end
6.
Remove PTO drive shaft from the tractor
7.
Remove PTO drive drive shaft from the implement
8.
Disconnect the tractor top link then
9.
At the end, proceed disconnecting the tractor two lower links
Always check that the tractor PTO is in neutral before disconnecting the PTO
drive shaft
