Handler is mainly used under Limit function. Each signal is described as follows:
Signal
Description
START
Starting signal. Pulse signal falling edge trigger.
HI
When the measurement result is larger than HI, this signal is low
level, or high level is output.
IN
When the measurement result is between HI and LO, this signal
is low level, or high level is output.
LO
When the measurement result is lower than LO and larger than
HI, this signal is low level, or high level is output.
FALL
When the measurement result is lower than LO, this signal is low
level, or high level is output.
EOC
Measurement end signal. The low output signal will be valid.
IN_VCC
Internal power output signal. +5V
EXT_VCC External input power
EXT_GND External input power ground
NOTE: the maximum input of external power should not be larger than 24V and its signal low level is
valid.
The instrument provides external power supply. When using external power supply, the setup in menu is
as follows:
1. Press
Shift
→
to enter the menu on the menu level and use
or
key to
move across to “C: SYS MEU”. Press
key to enter into the command option and use
or
key to select “8:HANDLE PW” and press
key to enter into the power
setting of the handler, “POWER: <parameter>” (IN/EXT) is displayed.
2. Use
or
key to select the power and then press
to confirm the selection.
3. Press
Shift
+
key to exit from the menu and return to the measurement status.
