4. CONNECTION AND SETUP
Use a 3-pin XLR audio cables to connect microphones to the
mixer (or other preamp board). After having placed the micro-
phones, start adjusting sound on your mixer by setting to ‘OFF’
or ‘FLAT’ the relative channels EQ first. Then use EQ, reverb,
echo or any signal processing to create special effects, accord -
ing to your creative idea.
5. STORAGE
After use, remove eventually the windscreen filters (in CM-1000)
and supports, wipe them with a clean cloth and place in the
supplied flight-case. In any case, please be noticed that con -
denser capsule (CM-1000) is extremely sensitive to moisture. So,
if the microphones is being used regularly, we strongly suggest
you to cover them with a protective cloth.
6. CM-1000 Condenser Microphone
CM-1000 is a professional condenser microphone with wide
frequency response and high frequency resolution. It is ideal for
cymbals (Hi-Hat, Ride, Crash, Etc.) and requires Phantom Power
of 9V to 52V.
Connect CM-1000 to the mixer (or other preamp board) before
applying power, and never remove the cable while the pow -
er is connected. If the mixer or preamp does not contain this
phantom power requirement, then an external phantom power
supply is needed
