MASK DPI / MASK ALL
During AF search, PI st at ions and non- RDS ( Radio Dat a St at ion) st at ions with st rong signal will be m asked, in
t he lat ter case, t he non- RDS stat ions m ay cause int erference, result ing t he real AF t o be m asked due t o the
m isj udgm ent of t he radio under interference. Rot at e VOL knob to select t he desired m ode: MASK DPI and
MASK ALL. During MASK DPI m ode, t he unit will m ask only t he AF which has different PI , t his is t he default
m ode; during MASK ALL m ode, t he unit will m ask t he AF which has different PI and no RDS signal wit h high
field st rengt h.
RETUNE S/ L - SHORT/ LONG
“ RETUNE” refers t o t he t im e period t he unit allows for radio scan when recept ion is interrupted. “ S”
represent s a t im e period of 30 seconds and “ L” represents a t im e period of 90 seconds.
SEEK MODE
SEEK 1: When SEEK 1 m ode is act ivated, AUTO SEEK SCAN is st opped when stat ion is det ected even user
st ill push SEEK but t on.
SEEK 2: Auto SEEK SCAN is not st opped even if st at ion is det ected if user pushes SEEK butt on. When
releases SEEK but t on, t hen st op w hen stat ion is det ect ed.
STEREO/ MONO
When FM stat ions are weak and are dist urbed, list ening can be im proved by select ing MONO.
LOCAL/ DX
“ Local” posit ion in areas wit h st rong signals t o let radio st op at only st rong st at ions during m anual t uning
( LOC appears) . Select DX (dist ant ) posit ion in areas wit h weak signals t o list en t o all st at ions.
VOL LAST/ ADJUST
This funct ion allows set t ing t he volum e level of the unit after it was turned off and t hen t urned on again.
Choose VOL LAST if you want t he volum e level t o be the sam e as it was before t urning off. VOL ADJUST
allow s choosing volum e level.
