Setting up for the First Time Use

For the first time setup, there is a need to setup the calendar and clock time. 

1

  When the unit is plugged in AC power first time, it enters system setup mode.

  The “YEAR” will blink on the display.

  Press the <</>> buttons to set the current YEAR.

  Press 

SNOOZE/DIMMER

 button to confirm the setting.

5  

Repeat 3 and 4 above to adjust MONTH, DATE, HOUR, MINUTE and AM/PM. 

6  

Press the 

12/24

 button at the back to select 12/24 hour display format.

Notes:
   

 

If you want to change the date and the clock, simply press and hold the 

SET

 

button at the back for 3 seconds, then operate according to step 2 ~6 for 
setting. 

     After the unit is out of power completely (no AC plugged and backup battery has 

been drained), once the power is resumed, the unit will be reset to default 
settings as the first time usage and the “year digit” will keep blinking to alert you 
to set the date and the clock time again.

Setting the Daylight Saving Time (DST)

1

  When daylight saving time begins, slide the DST switch to “1” position, it will add 

one hour to the display time.

2  

When daylight saving time ends, slide the DST switch to “0” position, the 
displaytime will fall back one hour.

Using and Setting the Alarm

1. Press and hold the 

ALARM SET

 button and then press 

HOUR/MIN

 

buttons to set the desired alarm time.

2. Slide the

 ALARM

 switch to 

ON

 position to complete the alarm setting 

and turn the alarm on.

3. If you want to turn the alarm off, simply slide the 

ALARM

 switch to 

OFF 

position. 

4. You can simply press the 

ALARM SET

 button to display the alarm 

time you have set.

Using Snooze and Shutting off the Alarm

1. If you prefer to get some more sleep after the alarm goes off, simply 

press 

SNOOZE

/

DIMMER

 button while the alarm is sounding. The 

alarm sound will stop and the icon  

  

 

will display on the screen. The 

alarm will sound again after 10 minutes. (The snooze function will 
repeat for 12 times.)

2. If you want to shut the alarm off completely, simply slide the 

ALARM

       

switch to 

OFF

 position to turn off the alarm.

Note

:

 Remember to slide the

 ALARM

        switch to 

ON 

position for the 

next day to wake you up.

Displaying the Date

Short press either 

HOUR

 or 

MIN

 button to show you today’s date.

Setting Screen Brightness

Press 

SNOOZE/DIMMER

 button repeatedly to change the screen brightness.

Charging your Mobile Devices

 

USB Charging

You can charge most phones as well as other USB chargeable devices directly 
from Charge Rise. Simply connect your device to either USB ports in the front 
of Charge Rise to begin charging.

    The 1.0A port is for regular charging (phone).
    The 2.1A port is for fast charging or charging bigger device (tablet).

Wireless Charging Pad

The wireless charging pad is 180° rotatable to fit your nightstand 
or desktop setting. You can simply lock the charging pad in three 
positions (front, left or right). 

The charging pad provides up to 10W maximum power. Not all 
phones are capable of fast wireless charging with full 10W of 
power.

Note

:

 Place the unit on a flat surface for the stability of your mobile 

device during wireless charging.

Battery Replacement

T

here is a backup battery for keeping the clock time and the 

date. When the level of backup battery is low, the low battery 
indicator          will appear on the display. It is the time to 
replace the battery.    

To replace the battery, unscrew the cover, then remove the 
battery door. After replacing the battery, put back the battery 
door and the screw.

Restoring to Default Setting

Press and hold 

SNOOZE/DIMMER

 button and the 

ALARM SET

 

button simultaneously for 5~6 seconds to reset the user setting 
including ALARM TIME and DIMMER BRIGHTNESS to default 
setting. Release both buttons when you see the “cLr ” message.

  

Powering up the Unit

1

  Insert the DC plug of the supplied power adaptor into the  DC IN jack.

 Remove the battery insulation tape from the battery door.   

         

Wireless Charging 

CAUTION

  

BEFORE

 putting your mobile phone onto the wireless charging pad for         

charging,        

     

  

REMOVE YOUR CARDS 

including any magnetic stripe or RFID cards  

     (such as credit cards, transportation cards or key cards, etc.) placed/
    inserted 

AT THE BACK 

of your phone or your phone protective case.

     

  REMOVE METAL / MAGNETIC OBJECTS 

on the top of the wireless 

charging pad (such as coins, keys or paper clips, etc.). No foreign object 
should be placed between the phone and the charging pad during 
charging.

      

  

REMOVE YOUR PHONE PROTECTIVE CASE

 if it consists of any metal

    or magnetic part.

1.   Place your phone(with built-in Qi charging function) on the wireless  

charging pad. For the best result, please remove the phone protective case  
before charging.

 2.    You may need to adjust or align your phone position on the charging pad  

until the charging indicator is ON.
