1. Make a mark on the cable 14 cm (5.5in) from each
earmuff.

2. Put the earmuff attachments in the slots on the
helmet.

3. Detach the head harness and strap from two
points on each side of the helmet. Attach the cable
at the mark to the harness with the cable ties.

4. Cut the cable tie. Re-attach the head harness
and strap on the helmet.

3. Make a loop of the cable and attach the cable to
the head harness with the cable ties.
Cut the cable tie.

4. Check that the cable can move freely when
earmuffs are moved between parking and standby
position.
