Variety of Metadata
Because the XDCAM Archive system can handle various
types of metadata, search operations become incredibly
quick and easy. Moreover, its support of XDCAM metadata
allows original metadata on XDCAM discs to be directly
imported.
Customizable Metadata Fields
Custom metadata fields allow users to tailor the field name
and data type for enhanced keyword searching and
metadata entry.
• Data types include pull-down lists, string, numeric, date,
Boolean, complex, and text data
• Configure custom fields as required; each is searchable
Web-based Storyboard Creation
This allows for basic pre-edit/rough-cut functions for partial-,
single-, or multiple-clip storyboard creation and preview.
• Save edit time by exporting an edit decision list (EDL) in SMI
file format and content to XDCAM Professional Disc media
• Export content to network devices based on the storyboard
• Render new content based on the storyboard
Expandable Storage Capacity
• The XDCAM Archive system supports NAS (Network
Attached Storage) expansion and configuration
